My name is Catherine Shaw. I am an accredited counsellor / psychotherapist with an integrative approach and a commitment to providing a safe confidential environment in which clients can work with me to try and resolve their problems and make changes big or small to improve quality of life. I work in a variety of different ways to give you insights into what is troubling you, helping you to understand and deal with painful or difficult issues.
Like most people I have found that life has its difficulties and believe that at times we all need someone to listen and help us feel heard. It’s often difficult to admit that we need support and easy to become isolated. We often choose to stay in an ‘emotional prison’ but if we had a broken leg we would have it fixed.
